Welcome to the darkest corner of the internet.

TheBigWhiteVan responds:

That we created.

No thanks necessary, friend. This track more than took care of that.

Slow building and menacing. This should get plenty of play when I pursue my more visual interests.

Long live AnchorGrinder. Both sides of it.

Awesome job man. You brought the rock elements out quite nicely. And the orchestral bits added a nice touch to it.

You are in the wrong genre.

It was a pleasant experience in terms of musical quality but everything felt a big generic.

I could hear the emotion but I think you're concentrating too much on the writing and not enough about what idea you're trying to convey.

You've pretty much nailed the industrial sound there buddy. Reminds me of Skinny Puppy.

The additions to this since the last version I heard are very nice.

Yet another track that takes me somewhere else.

Anchorwind responds:

Your feedback is always appreciated, friend.

Pretty close. Pretty damn close. You made it sound almost liquid as apposed to Trents harsh and violent sound.

It needs more though. Some of the smaller sounds need brought out. To name one, the guitar is begging to be more dominant.

sapoman responds:

Louder, more crunch on the guitar perhaps? I wanted to put vocals over it, but I'm a little under the weather at the moment. I'll try out your suggestions. Thanks for checking it out.

Your synths are great. And the cinematic presentation really works for this. I'm digging the opening bass line as well.

What kills it for me, though, is when you introduce your percussion. Basic FLStudio samples never really did it for me. Don't get me wrong, I still use them from time to time. But when I do, I make damn sure they're unrecognizable.

Keep chiseling away at this one and it's sure to be a winner. You're half way there.

chrispin responds:

Thanks for the review man. I'm glad you like some of the song at least. It has a lot of work that needs done, and the percussion is admittedly a weakness throughout the song. If you've heard my other songs, it's sort of a running theme. I'm not the best with drum beats obviously, but I've also never downloaded external drum sounds which is probably what I need to do. There aren't very many good drum sample sounds in FL lol.

How this has a 2.83 score fucking baffles me. The only real beef I have with it is pretty much being the same thing throughout.

There are solid ideas throughout. Not to mention sounding great no matter what I play it on.

Spoonukem responds:

People can be bungholes. It IS quite repetitive, I made it up in a few hours. Thought it sounded interesting enough to upload on here. Figured someone would appreciate it.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Your sound isn't necessarily Industrial. But the soul of this piece of music is heavily seeded in the ideas of industrial. A great wrong. Blatant propaganda being force fed to the masses. Evil corporations. The man beating us down. Exposing bullshitters for the bullshitters they are.

Pretty good in theory, not so much in practice. My advice is pick a bigger battle than employee protocol.

putzpie responds:

It's part of a larger marxism/historical materialist album that me and a bud are working on, and thanks for your input. I decided to make this as a statement of what I was hearing in the video because it's what I felt they were actually trying to say deep down. In the grand scheme of things there are bigger battles that I do hope to tackle as well though.

Change forever.
