WHY ARE THEY STARING AT ME!?!?!?
I DONT KNOW!!!

The real question is why am I staring at you.

Perhaps I see what others refuse to.

Is that Chavez?

Regrettably, I'm unaware of who this Chavez gentleman is. That is a manipulated photo of myself in the Sleepy Time video.

Gah what is this? This really captivated me. I really hear the NIN influence blended with your own style. Is this completely you?
The parts layering over one another is sublime. One of these days I would like to try my hand at this, but then again, not sure if I could reach it.

This, my good friend, is Sleepy Time and it is indeed all me. I proudly give credit where credit is due.

It was intended for the A.I.M competition but thanks to life raping me of precious time to work on music, I missed the deadline.

I appreciate you noticing the influence. I feared it was too obvious but I couldn't help myself. For those who didn't/won't notice, the influence is of the Year Zero variety. That album left an undeniable impression on me.

You can thank my mad science approach to writing/mixing for those layers. Don't sell yourself short. I believe there is mutual appreciation and a potential collaboration between the both of us. Perhaps that's wishful thinking.

In any case, I thank you.

Now I’m pissed that you didn’t submit this for the AIM contest because this would have done a lot of damage! You reached a whole new level with this. My ears deceived me to doubt as that piano, for example, is written just wonderfully into the mix.
A collaboration sounds dangerous. It brings intrigue with excitement for what would come of it mainly because of the many musical influences that would intersect. Perhaps after these wedding gigs in the upcoming months because then I will finally have the time to sit down and compose from scratch again—it’s been a crazy year with that.

I've been meaning to inquire about the wedding gigs. I'm a curious sort and you've made mention of them a few times now. Feel free to message me some details if you please. I'm all ears.

As for the aforementioned collaboration, I think we have enough common ground for it to work. A love for a specific keyed instrument. But I'll not push for such a thing. I prefer to let creation happen naturally. All of my creative works were started with no clear agenda or plan. Only expression is required for the act of creation.

I am no musician. I am a (self proclaimed) artist. Some may not join me in that sentiment. In some respects, they would be correct. But not for long.

Until next time...
